Overall though, the rest of the experience is good. The people are always kind & friendly (once I find them), they carry many products I like, and there's always a good selection of sale and clearance items. They've got plenty of parking, an easy to access location, and the store itself seems clean and well kept.
I only gave a 1 because I actually like target itself. Their food court however is terrible. Ordered 1 hot dog and waited about 15 minutes. I finally went to the counter and the girl said she had forgot. They were SO slow and clueless. The lady before me ordered a pretzel and the guy was so confused and rude. Terrible customer service!!
I usually don't frequent this Target location. I typically do like shopping their stores, but this one seems to always be out of many items once you get beyond the clothing & toy department. It also seems to be especially difficult to locate assistance here without going all the way up to the cashier area if it's not prime shopping time (i.e. weekend afternoons). Hunting for assistance in electronics (needing items unlocked) or furniture is way more difficult than it needs to be. Also, if you're purchasing furniture and an item you want appears to be out of stock, it's probably worth tracking someone down because 9 times out of 10 they have another in the backroom, it just hasn't been stocked. This has been a recurring issue here and is a big part of why I now usually go to their other location on Airport Highway.
The cashier I had today didn't know how to do his job. I had 2 separate orders as I was picking up 3 things for my daughter. Before I could pay for that order he was ringing up the next and it was getting added to the first. We got that straighted out and proceeded to the next. I had 5 items that I had gotten off of a gift registry, so I handed him the registry paper to scan. He finished ringing me up and I had to remind him to scan the registry. He wasn't very adept at bagging as he was basically stuffing things in without any particular rhyme or reason.. He took apart a 2 pack of gift tags and didn't know how to scan it. Since I had a second identical set, I told him to use the second set to scan twice. I bagged most of my things so I didn't get home with my purchases trashed. Not sure this guy was trained at all. Maybe he just wasn't able to figure it out. Either way, it took too long to check out. Not a very good experience.
Also, the smell coming from their Snack Shop when you first enter the store... Its somewhere between stale popcorn and dirty bathroom. It's probably just a misfortune of the way the air circulates, but it is quite strong and unpleasant.
Customer service sucks and the manager was very rude. Ordered something online for my son and now telling me it's not available and im out of luck. I will never shop at target again and will tell everyone I know how bad the customer service is. Can't belive how rude they were.
Although shoe department is lacking, the rest of the store was in good shape.
